Branding, T-shirts, and more
Although most of the work I do is B2B content and print, I occasionally take on branding projects and design briefs outside of the normal work that I do.
The Autistic Girls Network
I started working with Autistic Girls Network in 2020, supporting Cathy Wassell, the CEO, with marketing and design work through the organisation’s official transition to becoming a charity. I created the branding for the charity, which they are still using across their digital presence.
Aside from the branding work, whitepaper design and social content I created for the charity, I got to work on some fun projects to support their fundraising. One of those was being given a very open brief to design graphics for t-shirts and other merchandise, based around common phrases casually used in the autistic community.
T-shirts and merchandise
I really enjoyed this project. AGN gave me a list of terms and phrases then left me to interpret the concept based upon my own perception and what I know about the autistic community.
Since I created this range in 2024, I’ve actually seen other autistism-related merchandise selling on Instagram that has clearly been influenced by some of my designs.
